There are several emerging working groups in Identity Commons. They are about to be voted on by the Stewards Council. Here is News from January for Id Media Review Working Group and Id Futures Working Group:

Id Futures
This group was formed to do interactive and indepth consideration of potential future events and scenarios for an identity layer of the web. Our first activity prior to DIDW in September 2007 generated 50+ potential events (see them on the wiki). IdMedia Review
This group was formed to support community engagement with books, movies and other media that cover identity related topics. We currently have a bibliography on identity that is growing and we welcome your additions to that list.
